After a great deal of Prayer we have decided to Home School our girls. This is our Learning Adventure.
Snoopy is 3 and will be starting Pre-k. She is an outgoing little girl who love's exploring everything. She spends her morning's learning with mom and her afternoons trying to catch the Red Barron with her toy plane.
The HotRod Princess is 5 and will be starting Kindergarten. She loves Curvy HotRods and working with her pop when ever she can. She is very smart and soaks up every bit of information I can throw her way.
Our School Year will begin July 1, 2012

Wow, this was already 14 years ago, when I was still home schooling my then little girl. Now I am a fresh empty nester. Not long ago I was looking forward to this phase in my life, that near desperate yearning to return to myself, but currently all I have been feeling so far is grief and loss. The feeling of wanting a break to catch my breath from the past 22 years of spinning has come to a complete stop, and all the plans I had looked forward to for myself now feel pointless.
ReplyDeleteI was just going through some of my little things to mail to my daughter and there was this tiny package of Seven Color Crystal Balls at the bottom of the box. Took a moment to search what they are. I don’t know if my daughter once gave these to me or if they just ended up mixed in my things. Anyway, that’s how I ended up in this abandoned blog. Now I know what “Seven Crystal Color Ball” is. Thank you, former blogger mom. I hope you are well. And if you are experiencing “empty nest syndrome” I want you to know that you are not alone, and my heart hugs your heart. Either way the hug is yours.
